COFFIN CAROUSEL is a metal band founded 2012 in Melbourne Australia originally as a side
project conceived by the ‘OG of Creepy Cool’ Howard Von Noise (Diamond Noir, Hatchet Dawn, The
Symbiosist) until it became fully activated in 2015. COFFIN CAROUSEL is your haunted chainsaw
ride formed within the roots of horror punk and sludge metal sub genres and has notably
progressed to a heavier sound direction with each album release.
The bands journey evolves with the arrival of a fifth full-length album titled Quantum
Chainsaw Part: Three Six Nine embracing sludge metal sonic formulas and adopting elements of swedish death metal
riffs with HM2 chainsaw guitar tones, dark drone feedback moments and throat savaging
vocal layers fortifying COFFIN CAROUSEL is not turning back from their 2023 self-titled fourth
album release which was an upheaval in the primal assault of the bands horror punk rooted signature music style,
leaping into death-black metal riffs and the addition of shrilling coarse vocals layered over an
evolved heaviness groove in full metal assault.
Quantum Chainsaw Part: Three Six Nine returns another wizardry conquest by the same production
team as the previous four albums mixed by Julian Renzo (Jack The Stripper, Be’Lakor,
Blackhelm) at Legion Studio Productions in Melbourne, and mastering legend Alan Douches
(Misfits, Hire On Fire, Mastodon) at West West Side Music in New York. The fifth full length
album awakens to a new scary level of vocal deliverance by Howard Von Noise penetrating a ever
more horrorified lyrical ride over previous COFFIN CAROUSEL's albums Face Melting Chunky Stuff [2019] and Order Of The Bat [2022] to new an ever more outer worldly plateau from the distinct
debut full length album Between Death & Dead [2017] mixed by Grammy-award winning producer
Neil Kernon (Exhumed, Cannibal Corpse, Nile), and mastered by Alan Douches.
Considering that since the launch of the debut EP Fiend [2015] COFFIN CAROUSEL have opened for the likes of
Misfits [2015], Wednesday 13 [2018] and for Michael Graves (ex-Misfits) [2018] solo Australian
tour. COFFIN CAROUSEL certainly has an unrepentant attitude and passion for underground heavy
music genres and dedication to challenging the art of original music song craftsmanship and
organic live band performance music production.
The Quantum Chainsaw Part: Three Six Nine album will be unleashed with a music video for the
track ‘Purest Gold’ showcasing that this album is by no means a repeat of formulas from its
four predecessors. So let yourself beam up on board a new timeline of COFFIN CAROUSEL as they
once more offer a recipe of evolvement with eleven new musical cuts of chainsaw bat sludge
sensations and relentless originality in song craftsmanship. Quantum Chainsaw Part: Three Six
Nine LP will be released Friday 26 September 2025, independently through NOISE INC.
